Be a Moon Watcher. Here we are! On this page you will find brief
information about moon phases, and Signs. To get you started we will show you how to “read” the phases in every month On the Calendar Page you can find the date, Zodiac Sign, and degree of the current Lunation phase. Make note of the phase information on your own calendar. Then go to the lists of phases and Signs below to see the kind of energies you will be dealing with during this particular phase.
Each new moon I will start a new thread with new positions and interpretations of the current lunar energies for the new and full phases of that month. The Blog thread will last all of that month, at the end of which the thread will be replaced with the new one.
All this is free. If you decide to go more deeply into the phases, you can download the original .pdf version of the book, Secrets of the Old Woman Who Never Dies, from this site and receive the key to our "Secrets" room. In that magical room we will show you how to build a solar chart and use it to personalize your moon phase experience specifically to your own individuality and chart. There will be more in-depth interpretations of the lunations as well. You are invited to join other Moon watchers, blog, or respond to blogs. (But you don't have to buy the book to use the Blog page.) If you already have the book, in .pdf or hard copy, please contact me from this website. I'll send you the key. However, the Secrets page is still under construction, so expect a delay in its information.
THE JUNE ECLIPSES.
Eclipses
are like exclamation points on a page. They signal us that the cosmos
is making a point and that it has not only a message but a warning that
if we do not pay attention to something in our personal lives right now,
we may end up behind the 8-ball. It doesn't mean that God is going to
get us--it just means that our shortcomings are about to catch up with
us because we neglected something in the past, or we are about to earn a
new slate so we better check out our future options and begin that new
slate now. Procrastination now will not align you with a new moon.
Normal new moons are about beginning something new, but Lunar (New Moon)
eclipses are about changing your direction because you are getting off
course.
The New Moon Eclipse (Solar
Eclipse) on June 1 is in Gemini. This means that the whole planet is
beginning something new this month in the sign of Gemini. In general,
the planet and humanity have a lesson to learn about communication. (Duh!) All
our communications seem to stir up problems; people are running around
spouting off without too much concern about how they are upsetting
others. Listen to the journalists, who have more experience, and for the most part,
training in telling us things that scare us with smiles on their faces and sweet words. But when you see a government press
conference you often hear spontaneous anger being triggered. For
yourselves, you may have a sudden desire to write to aunt Bella.
Depending on Aunt Bella, that may or may not require some careful
consideration of wording. Take a hint here.
Anyhow, this
whole month is a good time for opening up a long neglected family issue,
or simply having some important conversations about the direction you or they are going in, or that may change the
direction you are going in.
The Full Moon eclipse
(Lunar Eclipse) on the 15th is more complex. The Sun has progressed 14 days/degrees--nearly half of the Sign of Gemini, while the moon has progressed from Gemini to Sagittarius (the Sign opposite Gemini,
which puts it opposite the Gemini Sun on the eclipse day. Moon is challenging the Sun (Gemini
speaker or writer) to look at the larger picture. It is saying that you have spent two
weeks gathering your facts and information, but now you need to see how
your information fits into the larger world outside yourself. You have
information to offer others, who may or may not like the information. How can
you see it from their side so that you can break it nicely?

These eclipses will be in effect at least the next 6 months so you may want to write a few notes to yourself that will last you till late fall when the next pair of eclipses comes along.

DO MOON PHASES REALLY CHANGE OUR MOODS?
THE MOON AND YOUR MOOD. Why do we feel tired and "low" sometimes, and suddenly the next day we have an influx of energy? Why are our emotions more up-and-down one week and more stable the next? Why do we feel sad or pessimistic one week and happier and optimistic the next?

We can only show you a tiny bit of what the Moon phases can do for you. At the deepest level, they can change your consciousness. But, we assure you that we answer this and other deep questions in our book—some of which traditional writers have never satisfactorily answered.
